How to change neutral safety switch?

Hey guys, we have a 2004 FZ6, and the neutral safety switch is not working.

I removed the wire, attached to the switch, and grounded it to the frame, and the dash neutral light comes on. So, the switch is bad.

My question is, how to get in there and remove the switch? It is tucked in behind the coolant overflow reservoir, and is proving particularly hard to get access to.

Any tips you guys can share?

Haynes says you should be able to just unscrew it, but if the coolant reservoir is in the way, you can simply remove that (without needing to drain the system) which should give you access.
