Sugar coat it any way you like. You really think there is any prestige in finishing 4th?

The only thing that will sweeten what is left of this world cup for me is a Wales-Australia 3/4 playoff.

Wow. Sour grapes much?

Just a game Andz. Not life and death.........

May be a HUGE cliche, but rugby is the real winner. Most of the games have been really entertaining and there are only 3 games left :(

Also have to think about the rankings. Still plenty to play for.

Mikes a little rattled right now.

He wants Cooper off and he wants to know why Sharpie isn't playing.

He's also swearing.

A lot.

Bad luck Aussies,
A great effort, maybe the South Africa game took it's toll.
It's a pity you couldn't get the wings going in open play.

As a neutral still a very enjoyable game to watch.

It started very evenly,
The Aussies look like the have the legs on the Welsh lads.
Forced errors have been causing the welsh lads some pain.
Aussie boys immense in the break down.

30:liar: phases of play, may be 13 for the 2nd Welsh try.

Well done Aussies, Good game played in great spirit.

David Po c o c k Man of the match? Naughty word catcher won't allow spelling of Dave's surname lol.

What scrum ;)

To be honest , the bulk of Australia's interest in Rugby is now on the backburner for another four years :( thats when most of the country become 'experts' :shakehead:

Roll on the cricket now old chaps :D

Not with me - rugby is my religion

Our kicking let us down AGAIN last night but we played over 30 phases and scored in O/T. We have heart!

Half of my household is very happy.

Guess which half :(

I read an interesting article on a kiwi website stating on how the French could do it over the ABs.
Yes, la la la, take your chances, dont make mistakes.
But the kicker was if you let the ABs into your own half, concede the penalty, and therefore not the try.
Also challenge the ref in the opening stanzas by pushing rules (within the rules of course:rolleyes:), and win by leading on the scoreboard. Hey! Sounds easy!
Thanks Goldie, but I don't think the French could or would consider these "conceding" type tactics. The French historically always run hot and cold. Great back 3, excellent tight 5. So yes, always a possibility.

(Personally, AB's will pick them apart even more so than their pool match.)

What do you all think?

Condolences Kaz!
Wales put an amazing RWC. I think their handling let them down at times on the weekend, and they also missed the presence of Rhys Priestland.
I can see so much endeavour in the welsh to run and attack. Knowing the coaching history, its no surprise, but a shame to not see them in the final. One to watch next RWC though!
