I would probably get the GSX650F for the same reasons I got the FZ6 but just to try something new.

I'd get an FZ1.
It's absolutey the next bike on my list, but I like to get my money's worth out of stuff. IF the FZ6 got stolen, or totalled, it would be on to the next up, the rocketship FZ1.
It's a couple thou more...

I would go for the Aprilia dorsadura, a supermoto to chuck around instead of speed for a while
or if i can spend more a Moto guzzi griso or 1200 sport

Outside of the price limits, my first choice would be the FJR because my dad has one and I love swapping bikes when we ride together. My second choice would be another BLUE FZ6, unsure about the price, would consider the V-Strom.
