Okay, so I went against the Forum poll and put my money down on the Saints.

I wagered $400 on the moneyline, meaning that I deferred receiving the 5 pt. spread and I'm getting +170. Meaning that I get back +170 for evey $100 wagered. The Saints must Win gor me to cash.

I also wagered $50 that Drew Brees will throw 4 touchdown passes. That gets me a 7:1 return.

So I lost the $50 wager, but cashed on my primary wager. Just turned $400 into $1080. Going to the casino now to cash!

Who Dat!

this is a very good analysis, prolly 'cause I agree :)....
if it's a wide open, run and gun game, Colts can play that,
in a defensive slug-out, the Colts are far better suited,
whatever, should be a good game...but my heart is with
the Saints, the Big Easy, Brees and Co

I say Colts in a blowout ... like 42-17

I've seen the Colts and the Saints in person this year playing the lowly Rams in St Louis. The Saints gave up 23 points to the RAMS and almost lost the game. Nuff said.

I was also at the Colts playoff game against the Ravens in Indy and if Ray Lewis and company couldn't get pressure on and contain Manning and his weapons then no way the Saints can.

The Saints have the 25th ranked defense in the NFL this year. They live or die with the blitz and quarterback pressure. Manning is the best at adjusting his coverages to counter the blitz packages.

Big surprise of game? Colts have their best rushing yard game of year as Saints are horrible against the run. Wouldn't surprise me to see Addai and Brown rush for 150 yards between the two of them which will open up play action passes for Manning.

.

:rof: :rof: Great analysis , Manning had no answer to a defence that was never ever going to give up :D....

I'm glad the Saints won, not just because VEGASBETTER won on them. I remember when Niners were the team and they always managed to win the division...even if the Saints had a damn good record. I just regret that I'm not around Bourbon Street for the aftermath.

Not the shootout I anticipated but clearly the winner I expected! :D  :steve:

The team that had the backing of my heart, not my head, won. The fact that NO stopped the Colts on the last drive was worth about $1,500 split 5 ways. Not bad for a $20 investment/man. Is this a great country 'er what? Looks like Pazzo's might be coming my way!! :cheer:
