stock exhaust can length

So, does anyone know the length of the stock can from the inlet to outlet? I have been toying with the idea of new cans today and this would be good to know. I don't mind an exhaust a bit longer but I don't want it sticking out 6 inches behind the bike either!

Roughly 14.5" IIRC... Body to tip.

Are you asking about just the end box or from the rear pipe join?

Box length from inlet to outlet is 370mm but from the end of the inlet pipe to the tips is around 770mm. That's not taking the length of the bend into account.

Mainly just the can. I can always take out more, if and when the time comes.

wouldn't you be buying a set of cans designed for the Fz6? Or are you trying to retrofit cans meant for another bike?

Going to do my own exhaust. I don't like the looks of most exhaust these days, nor the price. I can build a decent setup, how I like it, and get a PC to go with it, for the price of a typical system these days.
