Radiator / Cooling Hoses Discontinued

I've got a 2006 FZ6S. My hoses are starting to show signs of fatigue, so I went to Partzilla to price out some replacements. It appears that Yamaha is no longer manufacturing some of these hoses anymore. I compared the 2006 to the 2008, and some of the parts are interchangeable; some are obviously different. Here are the two diagrams side-by-side, with the hose numbers circled in red being the ones that are no longer available from the manufacturer.



My question is:
I'm mostly concerned about the two large diameter hoses, parts 4 and 13. I can get #13 while it's still in stock. However, does anyone have any idea if hose #4 is interchangeable between years? The part numbers are different: The 2006 is 5VX-12578-00-00; the 2008 is 4S8-12578-00-00. They look very similar if not identical on the diagram, but this is essentially a cartoon lol.

If I try to select the old part for the newer bike, it says 'will not fit'. So I assume the same going the other way.
The bends in the hose look different for the 2 part numbers, though I can't say 100% that it won't work.
The attached pic with 3 hoses shows the old version (5VX) in the middle. The other 2 pics are for the new version (4S8)

Has anyone tried using the eBay/Amazon silicone hose kits? I'm reluctant to go that route, but there aren't any other alternatives, from what I can find. What worries me about these kits is that they say they fit 2004-2011 FZ6 models... which makes little sense, between non-existent model years and the different hoses from S1 to S2.

Euro bikes went to '10 or '11 I believe.
I would guess that the hoses are close enough and they went for a compromise on the bends, and that the silicone hoses are more flexible.
Hopefully someone else here has tried them and can give a more definitive answer.
