You guys are bada$$es, David & John. It's 20 degrees here and my ride is sitting in it's heated garage, hybernating for the winter.

We had a great day of riding... going up & down Palomar with heavy rain and thick fog was fun :) BT016s pro did well in the wet as I did not experience any sliding even when pushing the pace a bit...

I did not see Rick Clemson up there tho lol Raining gear held up pretty well... my only real problem were my gloves (didn't use the waterproof ones like a dumbass)...

I knew you would come through pictures David. Thanks!

Kinda glad I didn't make the trek all the way down there though just to have the weather we've had up here a couple of weeks ago....

Wavex and I are still going to ride. Rain doesn't bother us....

We will be at the Mobil station before 9:00am. Hope some of you guys can make it.

Hard Core! Damn right.

In my opinion it's always nice to ride in the rain if you are prepared with the proper gear to stay dry. It keeps you sharp on your wet riding techniques.

But again, nothing wrong keeping that risk level at zero by not riding at all.

I agree about the risk factor and the opportunity to sharpen your skills. We rode 220 miles in rain Saturday without any incidents. Not really our preference but that was the only tome we could ride together for the next 4 weeks.

That was an amazing day! I think this was shortly after I picked up the Triumph and was itching to show it to you guys!

I know the feeling. Sometimes you have to take the ride where you can fit it.

I rode W. coast to E. coast in 87. It was on a 1980 Kawasaki KZ1000. I didn't have any real riding gear except a leather MC jacket and I rode for days in rain where I suffered hypothermia(?) because of lost body heat. I had to get off the bike because I was shaking so bad LOL!

John I thought you were retired and could ride anytime:BLAA:

Jerry

Well, David really has the restrictions due to family and career commitments. However, my world has kind of flipped on its head as well and it was nice to get in some saddle time.

I had a rock hit my oil pan on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, cracking it enough that oil was constantly running out. Long story short, I got it home and had to wait on parts to replace the pan. Then with the holidays and other distractions, Wavex and I haven't ridden since.

This year will be different...I am just a couple of weeks from purchasing a Super Tenere, and I have someone new in my life who likes to ride with me. :D

2013 will be awesome.
