Exhaust looks killer:rockon: I might have to steal that idea:spank: I have mine painted and the carbon look might hold me over till i get a new exhaust. Good job:thumbup:

Have you'll no guts to experiment. LOL
I turned on the ugly meter and it exploded:eek:
I better cut it down before I hurt someones eyes:thumbup:

2, including you  but you're the most important! I painted my heel plates and radiator guards. They could look good with CF wrap.

I was going to do mine with paint then had this left over vinyl WHY NOT!!!
As I've said before this is one mod thats easy to undo and cheap.
Just get enough I think 30"by 16" but check it out to be sure.

My shield got pretty scratched up from a big bug on my wash rag so I ended up Krylon Fusion-ing it on the backside but you can kinda still see the swirly scratches on the front. I take it you put the wrap on the outside? That would cover any scratches I guess, I like the look too, but maybe Erci is right about it might look better cut down a bit. Good job on the exhaust.

Here's my bike with the shield cut down just pat the supports

Fantastic look. You did a great job on the windscreen. I like it!

Do you have to apply it with heat? or is it a peel and seal type of deal?

Looks great I did the same on the windshield, upper fork tubes, covered vin stickers. Might have to cut my windshield now, like the looks of yours better. As far as all of the people thinking about getting some of this 3m material I want to tell you that it is really easy to work with. It has a air egress adhesive, which means the glue on the back have very small grooves in it that allow you to have bubbles, minor cresses and you rub or use your finger nail to get them out. It is very easy to work with although I am a professional 3M installer and I wrap cars everyday with material like this, I am telling you guys it's easy. 3m has made the materials now a days so easy to work with that almost anyone can do it with a little patience. Heat is your best friend with vinyl, it allows you to wrap around compound curves with ease. I use a propane torch but you could use a heat gun or even a hair dryer. Here's a tip vinyl has memory so if you stretch it and don't like the way it turned out just pull it up and put heat on it and it will go back to it's original form. If anyone has any other questions about vinyl wrap just PM me. Good luck:thumbup:

Hi Bambam,

I did it since winter 2009 and no problem with the heat of the muffler, the dinoc from 3M is very good. I don't thing that will be great on the windscreen but it's your bike.
