We believe its a combination of years of wear & tear from airwalks rubbing it before she was converted to a cargo bird , probably a really cheap paint job straight over the original paint & someone did tell us that it also flew through a bad hail storm & that stripped a lot of paint of her... Either way , I like the weathered & well used look

Thanks. It's a cycling trail so it would have been the push bike. I rode to Puget Sound that day, but ran out of time looking for a decent viewpoint before I had to turnaround. More to explore for another day.

Thanks. That's actually a young male Anna's Hummingbird. He perches on that sunflower when I get too close while he guards his feeders.
