I really need to start carrying the "real" camera - Razr HD pic 1st 2.

I Behold the "POSTS"... No way to get height, but through these posts. :( Astoria - spanning the Columbia river

Cell phones can take some great snapshots. Mine, RAZR MAXX, doesn't seem to do as well as others. Colors are usually slightly off or washed out. Maybe it's a setting. I prefer real cameras to cell phones but they are good at capturing "right now" type stuff in a pinch.

Yeah we saw it during this flight, and barely got it to show up on the camera. A perfect double rainbow around the shadow of our plane.

Mother Nature rocks, thanks for sharing that, it is something many of us have never seen.

I did a little side by side about 9 months ago between the Droid Razr HD (same as the MAX, minus bigger battery and memory) to the iPhone 5. The 5 wins in low light and bright sunlight for all you mention. Just not enough to make me sign up for iOWNYOU..... I do wish it were better.

Dave, love those lightening pictures a few posts back! Great Job! Went to spot you with Rep point, gotta spread more love first! :D

Here's a handful of pics from another rail trail MTB run to capture a bit of late Autumn. This is the Banks-Vernonia Trail, Oregon.

This was out near Fredericksburg, TX, on 11/19/13. About 10 of us went for a ride starting in south Austin. Various bikes, this is my BMW. The statue in the background has a sign around his neck with the name FRED on it. Way off in the distance, near the house, is Edward and his Ducati. He said 18,000 miles and that was the 4th clutch that's burned up. He was asking for permission to park safely while he went to get a truck and trailer to haul it back home. They were kind enough to agree to watch the bike.

November 11th is Veteran's Day in the U.S.A. I took a ride to Fredericksburg, TX, to the National Museum of the Pacific War for their Veteran's Day ceremony

I'm at a loss, here. Why is half the color guard standing at attention and the other half standing at parade-rest? The only one that looks like he knows his business is that Marine private standing in the back.

Was going to squawk about the 1SG wearing his garrion cap instead of a beret but then I noticed he is wearing a Silver Star. I guess he get's a pass. Probably retired before the beret was issued anyway.

What way is Edward riding that uses 4 clutches in 18K miles?
