Well had my first off on a road bike for more than 10 years.
Would love to say it was due to black ice or an oil patch but alas it was human error. The temp was -5c got on the bike waved to wife and pulled off the 15 yards or so to the junction no need to stop so turned right and rolled on the throttle. Done this 1000's of times but this time the rear wheel decided to over take the front wheel and dumped me on the road.
Damage to me, bruised arse and twisted knee, damage to bike, bent and worn frame slider snapped curb feeler thing. Worst part is wife still watching from window and neighbours getting in to there car:shakehead:
Moral cold tyres and road + corner and complacency = embarrassment :Flash:

Not sure which is worse, a bruised arse or witnesses to the get off. At least it wasn't a major crash.

Thanks for the reminder to pay attention.
