Ok, after 7 months...yes, that is a WORLD RECORD! i finally got my Axle & Fork Sliders...and they FIT!

Pardon my sarcasm, but you wouldnt think a couple of sets of sliders could prove such a drama....

Well anyway, 1 accident where i would of real benefitted from having these little suckers later....i present my "Axle Armour"

They are made by the same people who make Oggy Knobs, and are very good quality....took about 2 minutes to fit!

I think they also look cool, clean up the base of the forks, and cover the very average looking axle nuts on the 06 swingarm nicely!

Ok, as far as this thread goes, it's well old now, but i was always going on about getting a TCP seat cowl! Well i have one now...it's the wrong colour, but that's cool, cause i am going to paint the rest of the bike anyway now...

No photo's yet, but i have the seat cowl...last piece of "bling" in the puzzle!

Dunno have been thinking..the FZ6 has the nice light R6 wheels anyway...Cast Magnesium, or the likes, as it is anyway, so i may just be throwing good money at something i really dont need to do..

Was only speaking to someone yesterday about the possibility of getting titanium headers made up....i wonder how much it would cost??

There is someone in Adelaide that could do it too!

M4 makes a full titanium system for the 03-05 R6. Seeing as their headers can swap in place of ours you should be able to make it work from the headers up to the midpipe part, then put your exhaust on from that point back I would think. You can get the titanium system with a polished muffler for $913 directly from M4. I wonder if they would sell just the front half of the system separately?

Unfortunately their site is all flash so there isn't an R6 specific page. But the site is M4 Performance Exhaust Systems I can't seem to find an e-mail address, but they are located in Dallas and the phone number is (972)481-9300. I know its (super) long distance for you...maybe one of our Texan members can get ahold of them?
