Not a bad idea...will wait for my Bellypan & Seat Cowl before i do that, as bike will be finished then.....Yay! Bank balance may recover from severe belting i have given it.

My little addition today, finally got sick of lugging around a backpack, so got myself an Oxford Tank bag.
38 Litre, the bag zips off of the magnet base and can be used as a backpack (if needed). Small removeable bag (bum-bag),
a pocket on each side. The thing is also expandable, pretty happy.

Man it looks like you could get the kitchen sink in there, what's it like in terms of comfort, or restriction of movement...i have found that the Bagster tank bag can get a bit restrictive when expanded.

Same bag i had till i got the ventura , i gave that to my bro-in-law..... Doesnt really suit the Ninja , tho im not gunna tell him They are a excellent bag and hold heaps..:thumbup:

Rang the spraypainter today and my hugger is all primed ready for painting tomorrow :cheer: then into the bakehouse for 3-4 days at around 34 degrees

If you can find one, a "coping" saw would be the best shot I think. It's a hand saw, so no melting and it has a very thin blade (like a hacksaw, but much smaller).

I sit "back" on the seat, so I can put the bag near the back of the tank, and no real restriction at all. Only rode home from Maxi's with it, so no real test with it yet.

He asked me how I heard of the shop, I dropped your name Jamie, and he immediately twigged when he looked at my bike and saw it was a fizzer.
Gave me a nice discount on the Draggins and bag too... $20 off, so I'll go back and see him again.

I have a rotary tool set, with cutting blades, which i used to do my Airbox, but that was a bit agricultural...

Yes everytime i go there, he comes out to meet me, and we ultimately talk Mods......and then some more about mods, as Jules has said, they are nice guys....and are very price competitive....

The best part about these tank bags is that they can be used as a back pack when you get off the bike, very convenient.

If u cut the straps that go around the risers off u will never have any restriction worry's and the magnets are rated to 250km/hr or something stupid like that so it'll never come off :thumbup:

Yeah, the guy said when I was leaving to make sure I put the strap around the head-stem, but I don't think it needs it.

Will have a squiz and see whats what.

Just one thing to be aware of ,if you put the bag on the ground make sure you wipe the magnets clean.A mate scratched his tank one time coz of that .

Ahh, good point. The "flaps" fold up under the bag and there's a clip there to keep them in place, I'll just use that if I take it off.

Yeah,the one my mate had didn't have the flaps,he sat it on the ground when he filled the tank and forgot about the dirt,mind you this was quite a while ago,old model.
