LOL , cant hurt em there tough as old boots :thumbup: , only review is what my mate has told me bout them so far........ He seems really impressed and the tyre fella reckons they are really gunna make a name for themselves real soon , im gunna take the CB for a blat on satdee arvo (dirty stinkin' honda crap) so i'll make my own mind up then...

Well i will keep an eye out for these tyres, but today i ordered a Michelin Pilot Power 2ct...which will go on this week, whilst other stuff is being done.

Looking forward to my first ride with it....have wanted to try one for a while now.

I am just about to take mine off the bike, get out the rotary cutting tools, and cut it down...want a cleaner look at the back of the bike...will leave enough to protect the shock, and keep a little of the water down....:rockon:

Make sure you post pics once the hugger is done, cant wait to see it.

Yes, so do i, i nearly nearly nearly left it off when i put the Ohlins shock on, but it was winter, and i sorta needed it!....suppose i could take it off during summer, the shock would not get half as much crap thrown at it in the dry....hmmmm, maybe i will just do that....:thumbup:

I just found a tiny and old review of MRF zapper tyres in the back blocks of google and the bloke says they lasted 44000 yep 44000 Km's , :don'tknow: guess im just gunna hafta wait n see for myself..

Sounds like a bit of a plan :thumbup: i'm hunting down some blue braided brake lines now , ive found some but they are a really dark blue and im trying to keep it all Yammy blue

Am guessing i will be getting way less from the Power 2ct....

I was really impressed aswell , i got 11000km's out of the original Bridgeys :thumbup: i thought that was fairly good going... Wish it was 44000 coz i dont mind the bridgeys

In reality, no tyre that lasts that long, could be a sports tyre....am guessing that was one of those old bangers in that catolgue you posted....Lol!

Am guessing thses new ones will be a bit softer, but i bet they are built for long life as well, am guessing the Indian market would not be full of budding Valentino's!!! More so, young kids who want tyre that look super sexy....Lol! Chengshin do this already, and whilst their tyres are creditable, they are found lacking in hard going.

Could be they're solid rubber:rof:....lol...They'd have to be to grip and wear that well surely:jawdrop:. Too bad once the flat spot starts up at 7 or 8 thousand...lol.

Ok just got back from the shop...new forks, brakes, front fender, new pads, rear brake disc, rear brake light switch, all done.

wont be picking bike up till tomorrow, as Aaron the workshop manager at Yamaha World is going to stiffen up the rear end...as it's way too soft, and has way too much sag...as i reported some time back, Aaron has also stiffened up the front a little more too...cant wait to ride the bike this weekend to test my new brakes, revised suspension settings, and new pazzo levers.:thumbup:

Big ups to the boys at Yamaha World.....Simon, Matt & Mick in Accesories, and Aaron, the workshop manager...who has been meticulous & extremely thorough with everything he has done to my bike....can give them, especially Aaron, the highest recommendation possible for service, decent, sound advice, whilst treating my bike as if it were his own...great job guys! :rockon:
