New Enough closeout... $39 Textile Jacket w/armor

This really peeves me when riders go around on a, say, Yamaha, but with different motorcycle-branded gear. Is that not moronic or what? Can you imagine going on the AMA race circuit riding for Yamaha while sporting a Honda jacket? Same thing with street riding, folks. DON'T DO IT!

^^ if I were to ever take a passenger on the back of my honda I wouldn't have any problems giving them a yamaha jacket.

I've worn my Yamaha hat in my car before, but while on the bike I won't wear another bike company's gear. It would be like wearing a Dodge jacket in my Mazda, blasphemy! Still a good deal though...I have never seen a Yamaha jacket on sale for anywhere near that price.

If you look at the photos they post (click on the single photo for more views), esp. the last few, they show the jacket with patches removed. You can take them off with a simple seam ripper tool. Then you have a very inexpensive jacket with only Joe Rocket logos.
Looks like an awesome deal to me! Wish I could buy one for myself! (Too bad I have boobs.) ;)

It wouldn't be terribly difficult to dye the thing, it sky blue ain't the thing. Even if someone insisted on taking it to a shop to have them dye it..... even if that cost $50 USD, you'd still have a screaming deal.

They are just trying to save money, I would do it to as long as the jacket matched the bike or was black. When it comes to say... a tires or jacket decision you gotta sacrifice something. Only time I wouldn't is if I had say a Kawi green jacket with a Yamaha Red bike or something like that. I think at that point the fashion police would justifiably run you down. :D
