My first mod in months!!!!..LED Lighting..Whatta ya think?

I have these LED strips layin' around for a few weeks and I thought that it would add some rear visibilty to the bike. I have to say it adds ALOT!! They are the cool white variety and arent as blue as they seem in the pics. They sure are bright....did I mention that..:D

ps...sorta looks like an angry UNI-Brow

Quite a good look but is it legal to have white lights facing rearward ?

EDIT:are they the strips you were thinking of putting in your headlights or am I thinking of someone else ?

no offence, but i think it looks a bit like you had some spare led tubing, and just had to put it somewhere...bit "Star Wars" for my taste.

Looks pretty damn cool, but illegal to have on the street (you can have them on while "showing off" in a parking lot or something, though.

Looks cool.
Two concerns:
Legality. Pretty sure they are illegal, but it's best to check with local law first.
It also looks like it takes away visibility from your brake light. The white looks like it will drown out the red from the tail when you brake.

Why don't you do the same thing but with red? You can even hook it up to the brake light so it illuminates when you brake. Then you get the look and function.

Yea, they probably will get me pulled over...we'll see. I appreciate the comments, good and bad. Im not totally sure if they will stay or go, but I thought I'd try something different.
I may still do the headlights, next time the front fairing has to come off( steering head bearing change to ALL-Balls)
As to the white washing out the brake light, there is absolutely no missing the Brake light when its lit, the red LED's are pretty bright themselves.

Legality aside, they do LOOK fantastic!

Reminds me of the "evil eye" look in one of the recent BMW autos...

Hey, he's a Canadian, Ay! Paul can probably get away with it.

Here in Nevada, motorcycles are allowed to have one blue light on the rear of the bike as long as it's a single bulb or filiment no larger that one inch in diameter.

If it's a cluster of LED's, it's illegal. So I just have to find one LED that's about 1 inch in diameter, it's hard. Haven't had any luck yet finding one yet.
