Moved headlight Closer 1-1/2"

You would think something like this would be really easy to do but it probably took me 2 hours to do this. I have had quite of few comments on moving the KMP K5 headlight closer to the forks so I was bored today and there was a good chance for rain so I went and took the headlight apart and fabricated some new adjustments on the bike.

In these pictures it probably doesent look like a big move but, in person, it makes a pretty big difference. I probably could of gone for 2 inches possibly but there is a lot of wiring/harness that kind of lurks in the path. However, I am pleased with the results and for those who did commented about moving it closer, I think it was a great move.

Note: This particular headlight doesn't have much coverage on the side for fairing. I looked around at Wavex's old bike and they look very similar in distance now. I think his may still be slightly closer though "sigh" Oh well I am pretty happy with the result though. I think if I paint the Fork Mounts it will look less distracting also.

No doubt, much better now I had spent hours fitting mine so that the headlight would clear the steering lock (front of the frame sticking out a bit) by like 5mm... that's as close as it would go

You need to clean up/insulate your wire harness too... use that black wire tubing from home depot:
