Mounting Woodcraft Frame Sliders

Okay. Evidently this isn't a lame question as I thought it was. I just bought some Woodcraft frame sliders. I was suggested to mount them on the most forward part of the frame. I have been seeing many people are mounting many of there frame sliders on the second most mount forward of the frame. Which is best ? Does anyone have input on this topic?

most forward part will minimize the possibility of it impeding position of your leg. i have a pic of rob's but i can't find the cord to load it onto my computer.
