Having lived in NH for 20 years, I've never seen snow that bad. But Holy smokes that's what I call snow! I hope you take good care of the snowblower because it's gonna take good care of you today.

Actually, when we get over a foot here, I will snow blow at 6"-8" at a time because that much snow makes for a tough snow blow. Not to mention the manual shoveling of the walkways, mailbox, and oil supply paths.

I hope that stuff melts soon enough for ya.

Dennis

Does it ever get hard to find your car? What I mean is, if you've parked at a Shopping Centre/Mall and you watch a movie and do some shopping and have some lunch etc. then walk outside to find it has been snowing. I imagine most cars would look very much alike covered in snow.

when everyone knows it's going to snow as much as this, we all just stay inside our homes. that's why the schools, weekend activities, the federal government and other employers all closed. that's also why the lines at gas stations, supermarkets, liquor stores, etc are all very long before the storm hits.
even now, the roads are such that transportation officials are saying to not drive unless absolutely necessary.

it's supposed to snow another 5 inches on tuesday. i feel like i'm living on Hoth! :D

It's good practice to push a button on your remote (if you're lucky enough to have one) to make sure you're digging out the right car.:BLAA:

Back in my Minnesota days we would just follow the extension cord to find our car.

Maryland and Virginia have gotten more snow than we have this year!

We have really only had nuisance snow and for a change, little icing - I hope I'm not jinxing us. To be honest though, I would welcome some snow for a change.

I hope you all dig out soon and that you have a slow melt with minimal flooding.
