Hi all,

I've been looking at exhaust options, and most seem to be standard end cans. I'm looking for something like the two brothers/leovince option, but they just don't seem to be made for the FZ.

I've searched youtube for sound clips, and got it down to the LeoVince, or Mivv. Thing is with the Mivv, I can't find any of you guys that have fitted them, or many sound clips.

Are they any good? Anyone tried them? Their site is here:
MIVV - SPORT - Silencers

And I'm looking at the cans on this bike (funnily enough, same colour as mine :))
This one is EUR500

They do these too:

These are available in Stainless for EUR385 or carbon/titanium for EUR500:

Yes, I´ve got a Mivv Sport Carbon Oval on mine. I bought it over EBay in Italy for 430€. I choose them, because every one got the Leo or something and I want something special. I have heard some Mivv at other Bikes and then saw the Exhaust and bought it. The sound is very good, at the moment I have the dB-eater in.

Sorry at the moment no better picture.

I like the way they are mounted because they have eliminated that huge semi-hose clamp look of the others. One thing does however puzzle me. Their roller run shows a max torque in the mid 50 range and a max horsepower of less than 88. The reason this puzzles me is I have seen stock roller runs between 88 and 92 horsepower at the rear wheel and I have yet to see a roller run where the torque ever got near 50 ft lbs stock or modified. Interesting....

The scale of the graph for torque is in Nm not ft lbs.

Well, that will do it but why the low horsepower output? Is this in another unit of measurement as well?

Maybe, from Wiki...

CV and cv
In Italian ("Cavalli"), Spanish ("Caballos"), and Portuguese ("Cavalos"), 'CV' is the equivalent to the German 'PS'. It is also used as the French term for the Pferdestärke, but in French, this should be written in lowercase letters as 'cv'.
In addition, the capital form 'CV' is a French unit for tax horsepower, short for chevaux vapeur ("steam horses") or cheval-vapeur. CV is a non-linear rating of a motor vehicle for tax purposes.[2] The CV rating, or fiscal power, is
b91cccbac3f492ecba615d677b85b8d6.png
, where P is the maximum power in kilowatts and U is the amount of CO2 emitted in grams per kilometre. The fiscal power has found its way into naming of automobile models, such as the popular Citroën deux-chevaux. The cheval-vapeur (ch) unit should not be confused with the French cheval fiscal (CV).

:D

The graph is a bit short as well which may account for the low power.

Those Mivv carbon fibre cans look awesome mate ... what kind of price are they asking ?

Not sure about the carbon ones, the ones in the first pic look like they're coming out at £250..

I think I am set on the LeoVince ones now though, especially with your pics :D I might see if I can pick up a set of any cheap on e-bay to start with, and save for the Leo's.

The guy selling these has sent me an e-mail with all prices for all MIVV that fit our machine. I've added them, and the picture to the other style that fit the FZ6.

All in all though, I think I'll be going with the LeoVince..
