I recently bought a 2008 Yamaha FZ6 and I’m trying to install a license plate, but I’m completely stuck.
The previous owner removed the entire stock rear fender/plate assembly, so right now there’s no obvious place to mount the plate. The bike has an under-tail Leo Vince exhaust, and from what I can tell, the exhaust is using the same subframe mounting points where a bracket would normally go.

I already bought a universal license plate bracket, but:
I don’t see clear mounting holes available
The exhaust seems to be in the way of the usual bolt locations
I’m not sure if I’m supposed to share bolts with the exhaust or mount somewhere else
I’ve looked under the seat and can see the subframe, but the typical mounting spots seem occupied or blocked.

Welcome to our great forum!
In the first and last picture There is a "U" shaped section under the exhaust that looks like it can be utilized for mounting plate assembly.
