Replaced the License Plate light wit one of these from Ozznium:
Tiny LED Modules : High brightness surface LEDs
used the round black one.
Simple install, the module comes with a wire length about 2 inches too short to reach the connectors, so I whacked about 3 inches off the stock light's cable at the connector side and soldered in a slice. Connected up and she's good to go!
Pro Tip: I washed out the light housing with dish soap and then wiped it down with pure isopropyl to get rid of any grit. The included 3M tape sticks fantastically well. Doubt I could get the light out again without damaging the light or the housing.
