Just installed engine guards.....but

Recently installed Yamaha engine guards on a 2008 .......thought everything was perfect but now I find that for some reason the bottom brackets of the engine guards now prevent the center stand from rotating down all the way and therefore bike will no longer rotate up on center stand......aaargh..... not sure why this is until I take it apart again??

Did you install them with the bike on the centre stand?

Well, take a pic of the problem (where the centre stand makes contact) and maybe we can help you. Your pictures do not show how the new engine guards could possibly be interfering with the centre stands full range of movement...
