That is an R6 swing arm and R6 front forks. The slab yoke is custom made in my backyard out of 6061 Aluminum using a drill press, chop saw and belt sander.

The rest of the project will be more backyard fabrication of parts such as:
- Top mount bracket for the top of the shock
- Bottom mount bracket for dog bone
- New subframe

Im reallly diggin that swingarm! Im unsure as to what r6 parts fit with my 08 fz6 though. So i quess what Im asking is, what year r6 swingarm would work? And this might be a stupid question, but would it ride higher or any different at all?

For my bike and this one we are using a 2003 R6 Swingarm. This swingarm fits great at the Main axle mount and is a little shorter, the furthest adjustment out is the same as the shortest adjustment in on the FZ6. Fabricate and add top and bottom mounts for the shock and dog bone and you are good to go.

Today the bottom mount for the dog bone was fabricated and installed on the bottom cross brace. The center block which will act as the base for the new subframe and top mount for the shock was also completed today.

Tomorrow we will fabricate the top shock mount and the rest of the subframe. More pictures soon.
