Sorry but this is one of the dumbest questions I have heard for a while.
A guy I ride with had an Intruder 1400 which he modified himself. Nothing unusual there except that he has one arm. Is that handicapped enough.
I met a group of riders at a meeting last week all riding bikes and all deaf, are they handicapped?
There a motorcycle groups for people with all sorts of handicaps, a simple search of the internet will show that.
Here is an extreme case I found:
Handicapped motorcyclists
My husband has ridden a motorcycle all his life and it is his primary mode of transportation.
He has emphysema, lung cancer, and uses oxygen (which he carries with him on his motorcycle). Any walking usually requires stops to catch his breath. We must not jump to conclusions based on the vehicle a handicapped person may be driving, or even how “well” they might look when they get out of their cars. If a handicapped tag is evident on the vehicle, I think we can be assured the driver has been officially deemed handicapped.
Respect to him for continuing with something he loves.
