Joined a new motorcycle group...

I went to Opal Divine's last night and met up with the local Buell club, the Hill Country HellBuellies. It was a nice mix of folks, from the 20's to the 60's, XB9s and 12, Uylies, 1125Rs, a GSXR1000 and a really ugly yellow Victory...

It was a bit on the poser side, mohawks on the helmets and neon LEDs on a few of the bikes. But all were very nice and welcoming, and they do an annual camp out to the same place the we went to last year.

No track day junkies, but I'm sure we can fix that.

Oh, one other common thread, "My bike is broken." Oh, boy...

I would have a Mohawk helmet but I suffer from (Narcissism)- relates to an exceptional interest in or admiration for oneself, especially in one's physical appearance or mental endowments. But I do think the Mohawk helmet is very Road Warrior-ish!! :rockon:

Nothing right now...so far it's been a clutch slave, speedo X2, speed sensor ( which was really the problem not the speedo). Total time in shop, about 10 weeks.

Most of the Sportster motor based bikes have electrical gremlins. For the new bikes like mine its the problems I listed, which I knew about going into this. The problem is the dealer I went to didn't have a clue. Now I'm at a different dealer and so-far-so good. They have a factory trained and certified mechanic who has an excellent reputation.

The bike is pretty well sorted now, I have a few other small things to "refine" you know me...but I need to wait for cool weather before I can get back on the dyno.
