Ah..bliss..no ice/rain/snow/sleet/fog in my part of the world...just overcast!! I've been on my bike for about 14 hours the past few days...just pure bliss!!! Going out on it tomorrow to go to the northern part of the island to get some really cheap drink...the only beauty of having the north of our country under English rule!!

Yeah, Melissa talked me into getting that little Chihuahua. I didn't think I'd like her that much, but she is pretty cute. Bout 5 months old now.

Me too! Way, way jealous.

We have our driveway plowed extra wide - we think we are in for it this winter and as the snow piles up, the drive tends to get really narrow.

Steph - your snow piles are awful! I guess we don't have it so bad...

In Ontario, total snowfalls along the shorelines of Lake Superior, Lake Huron and Georgian Bay reach 300 to 400 cm ( 118-157 in), most of which is due to lake-effect snowfall.

I live about 20 kms off the shore of Lake Huron. When the cities on the shore get about 6 inches we get about a foot and a half. Apparently lake effect snow misses the first 10-15 kms, then DUMPS it all on Glammis lol

This is all due to ireland being stuck in an isolated anticyclone of high pressure!!! I'd give anything for some snow on Christmas day but its not going to happen!

I live slightly north west of the far eastern cloud with the sun on it (thats at weekends) During the weekday i'm living in the middle of the most north eastern cloud!!
