2008 on is S2 so rusty should be good to go.

Actual hardware shows a sliding caliper (S1) and NOT 4 pistons (S2). Should be OK!

Just an FYI, S1 manufactured (2 pot pistion calipers) from 04-06,

07-09 is S2- four pot pistons

Now in some countries, when the bike is sold, say manufactured by Yamaha in 04 but sold in 09, its considered a 2009... Just make sure the calipers, are two pistons, like yours..

It'll have the bracket that bolts to the fork, the S2, NO bracket..

Hi all, a quick update. I just finished fitting the calipers that I bought online and its all gone to plan there sweet as you like.
