So I happened to ride by the place I bought my FZ6 today and they had a shiny red Daytona 650 sitting outside for sale. Don't see many of them around here. Not really a point to this story, but if it had been for sale when I got the FZ, I would probably have bought it instead, they were asking $4500 for it, less than the FZ cost me (albeit that was 2 years ago).

Don't worry; the FZ isn't going anywhere, I would never trade her in for another 600(ish).

Would be my second choice too, although I haven't tried to sit my 6'5" frame on one yet... They ARE purty! ;)

jesus youre 6-5 and ride an fz6? im 6-3 and thought i had it bad.

kills my knees when cornering hard or riding long...or both.

I'm 6'0'' and the bike feels just right. Not too big and not too small. I think my next bike will be the FZ1 because of the similarities between it and the FZ6. But that's years from now.

that is a pretty sweet bike, i have never seen one before and would like to try one out someday. I ave always been a bit intrigued by Trumpets....

I'm 6'4" and looking at the FZ6 and FZ1. Would you tall guys still recommend the FZ6, or something else?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if anything I think the FZ6 is slightly taller than the FZ1. If I were betting, I'd say they're about the same, but whenever I sit on a FZ1 at the dealer it feels a little bit smaller.

yup, its official:

:hijack:

lol.

even if you are taller the FZ is still a great bike. The other options that are better fits costs a ton more money. And the FZ is only really uncomfortable after some very long hours of riding. When you get off the bike and rest up for a lil while after 3-4 hours youre as good as new.

REALLY hard cornering will also make itself noticed tho, but even then if its only in short(ish) bursts then youre ok.

For the price, you cant find a better bike for what the FZ is and does...even if youre tall.
