I need help...

I need help, my 1 year wedding anniversary is coming up next week and i need some ideas, I am on a budget and so is she. I am not really all that sure what is appropriate to get/do for her, but would lie to do something seeing as it is the first anniversary and all.

ideas?
Ok Mate,
Time for the secret weapon.
All you do is take her favourite dress. Get yourself a balaclava and combat jacket. Take a picture of you standing next to the dress with your terrorist gear on. e-mail it to your wife with a message.
"If you ever want to see me again follow these instructions".

Now you can then send a cab to her work or home with instructions of a pre selected route. On the way she can pick up clues as to the where abouts of the dress. You may need to enrole some friends to help with this.
Ultimately the dress ends up in a motel room where she can change and meet you for a romantic dinner. Desert can be in the motel room or back at the ranch.
It will add a great bit of spice to the day. You could even be the hero that rescues the dress ala James Bond. Get your tux out.

Perfect, with a bit of creative thinking we can solve this dilemma for many years to come.

How do you think my ex got a whole set of Calphalon pots and pans? Those puppies are about $50 to $100 bucks each! Happy Birthday Honey! Merry Christmas! It took me 15 years but she got every damn pan and still has them!

Hmmmm.... Might see about starting to plan some things...

I like the idea perryn posted. I may have to steal that!

As for tradition like HavBlue stated... Since our tenth anniversary, I have been getting my wife one red rose for each year and an extra rose of a different color for the year ahead. She absolutely LOVES to get them at work and have the other women faun over them. None of THEIR husbands do anything for them. Valentines day? I was the ONLY husband to send her anything at work. This year was a Vermont Teddy Bear dressed as a Monkey, two of her favorite animals. I scooped her up after work and took her to a lavish Piano and wine bar for a fillet mignon dinner and some fine wine.

Next year, she'll be expecting the roses, but after all these years, it's getting really expensive and such a large arrangement that it's starting to be over the top. I think one of these adventures is *just* the idea that would make one very special anniversary.

We celebrate two of them... the day we met and started dating and our wedding anniversary which was 5 years later.

Go for the adventure reiobard!!!
