Would you like to trade currencies? Our dollar sucks. I don't know how anyone from the UK can refrain from coming over here, they're getting over 2:1 right now.

$4900 ($5300 OTD) for a faster blue '07 with 1100 miles. The only problem I could find with the bike was a burnt out low beam ... then I read this forum more closely and found out that there was only s'posed to be one light on w/ low beams (we'll get to the mod shortly).

For peace of mind, I'm probably going to have a dealer do (redo?) the 600 mile service so that I know the starting point for maintenance..

Ok, you guys are going to be sick.. I bought my 04, in mint shape with 9000kms on it for $4,000.00 CDN. They guy also threw in helmet ( not a great one) A joe Rocket ballistic jacket, joe rocket race gloves and Icon boots. I saved enough money that I was able to put the R6 cams in it. Oh.. It's the fast Silver and black one. :)

congratulations!!! I'll put it like this, if you're happy with the deal you made and you can afford it, then its a good deal!!! I paid 8399.00 for mine OTD/w gap insurance. no gear was included. so if you paid 4000.00 with gear your doing okay!!!

P.S. Welcome aboard!!! there is alot of good people here with very useful knowledge of the FZ6 and riding in general. if you have any questions be sure and ask!!!

Thanks for the welcome Sportrider. I've been reading here for a week or two while making up my mind that the FZ6 is what I wanted. I'm pretty happy with the deal I got. Its my first bike, so I wasn't sure how it compares, but it sounds like I did pretty well.

i just bought my superfast blue 06 with 1400 miles on it. I picked it up for 5500 for the bike, but after i put gear on it as well as the 2 year warrenty and tax i walked out paying 7000. I am pretty happy with the price since they tried to sell to me for 6500 but the first salesman quoted me the wrong price of 5500 so i made them give it to at that price.

I bought my Blue 04 FZ6 new in January of 2004. I had placed a deposit on it in Sept. 03 based on what I had read about it, so I was taking a risk about it being everything it was supposed to be. No disappointments after all this time. OTD price here in SoCal was ~$7,400.
