Finally parts for the bike are coming together for the front end rebuild. I've got the new ecu & lockset fitted and finally managed to start the bike for the first time which was a relief!

Should have a replacement front rim and horn coming next week to go with wolfman's front forks if we can get aussie post to pull there finger out hey wolfman?

That just leaves the tank which a panel beater mate of mine is looking at tomorrow and the instrument cluster/bracket and headlights which I hope you guys can help me with?

I really like these: We sell only high quality motorcycle spares - from pre-load adjusters and rego tubes to mirrors, bars and billet footpegs. Honda and Kawasaki specialists - TWIN HEADLIGHT KITS, BRACKETS & FLYSCREENS

Is $400 too steep for this kit or could I get better value elsewhere? I really like the twin headlight look.

I think that price is pretty good. I have been hunting around for a set of Projector lights like the Ducati's have one above another and they seem to be in the $600 range. I have come accross this setup alot and this price seems to be very good. I would say go for it. What are you doing with your gauge? aftermarket?

the gauges are ok apart from one of the plastic lugs on the rear cover is broken. Can you order a new rear cover for an 05 model to replace it??

You could probably get Buell lightning headlight setup cheaper than that.

not in Australia, we pay through the nose for just about anything bike related over here... Unfortuneatly, there are very few decent second hand bits about too...and if we buy from overseas we get drilled by the crap Aussie exchange rate. :(

Did you go the black or the full chrome?

I never got around to asking these guys whether they were E stamped (which is needed to be roadworthy), did you check?

You'll also have to tell us how long shipping takes.

Check if FlyNCycle will do international shipping. their dominator headlight setup is cheaper.

Not when you add it all up

Headlight US$140
Bracket US$30ish
US$170 convert to Aussie (US65c per AU$) = AU$260odd

And that doesn't include the indicators or shipping.

To get that entire setup, landed in Australia for AU$250 is a bargain!!
