Help me find my color code please......

Hi all, i want to find my color code, colorite does not have mine, or i can't find it. There is no sticker under the seat, no code in the owners manual either.
I even called Yamaha Europe, and guess what?! They told me to go to a paintshop and scan the color.....
My bike is a 2005 FZ6, and i'm looking for the name of the colour of the tank and seatcover. Any help welcome.

Taken from the Yamaha FZ6-S 2005 Parts Catalogue (Europea, South Africa, Australia), this seems to be a:

Colour Code: 0820
Colour Name: BLUEISH SILVER 4
Abbreviation: BS4

I'm with Miltos. If your positive it's a 05 then it has to be Bluish Silver(BS4), but since you say Colorite does not have the right colour, could it be that it is actually a 04 instead? The 04 was made in a regular silver(S3) colour.

My bike is for example a 05, but every paper I own says it's a 06.

Thanx guys, i found it! It is blueish-silver 4......It'r the only name that comes close to my colour, and it is a 2005. I'm ordering paint atm.

Sorry to revive an old thread. But I wanted to ask what the color code is for the crankcase of the 2005 Grey/Silver Yamaha. I had a bit of a slide a couple months ago and scratched up the crankcase.

I just sanded and flattended out the scrapes from gravel. Want to paint it so the color matchs as closely to the surrounding paint.
