with all the money i INVESTED on my fz6 i would have a nice R1 by now...

but what can i DO ?????

I LOVE THAT DAMN FZ6...so i ll do the best i can and then i ll stop!( one step missing )

there is one person in greece that have done the R6 Head mod,and he has 113 Hp on the wheel,... BUT HE HASNT Done my mods in brakes or shocks...

so in greece at least,i think we are some from the good MODERS...
but i will do the last step ,(just to have it all)

One Advice to all of you...MODING IS A HEAVY DRUG....

once u start it,u cant stop it!!!

I started Moding my bike from the wheel rim stickers, and the windshield...

and i said this is my only and last mod...

do u know how many times i said to my girlfriend this is the last mod?

hehe...

have fun and a happy NEW YEAR...

tell me your opinions....

Very nice.
Awesome Suspension/brake set up

The Tank cover is the only thing that doesn't do it for me though.

It's all worth it, keep modding until you run out of cash.

Your bike is gorgeous, and definitely ONE OF A KIND.

The FZ6 is defintely a model that is worth upgrading because of all it great traits, and with the upgrades it becomes a truly OUTSTANDING motorcycle.

Loads of really cools mods there mate. Looking good! I've got a couple you could add to your list:-

08-09 swingarm to improve the looks of the rear
Fork & swingarm protectors

Also maybe:-
Frame plugs
Footpegs
Black fairing bolts to match the lower cowl etc

More pics of the different stuff you've done would be great!

Thanks for sharing.

Cool bike.

I am also producing some caliper brackets ... nice setup.

And if you want some real improvement in the forks ... get an Andreani cartrigde kit  awsome stuff.
Works so much better with the ohlins shock.

Hello,

Great mods.
Do you think Ohlins rear shock worth the price.
It is about 600 - 700 Euros and that's really expensive.

And are you happy with the 15 teeth front sprocket?
Did you use a speedo healer also?
I ordered a Vortex 15T front sprocket yesterday. So i am interested.

the ohlins rear shock costs about 800 euros...

but its ALL WORTH it...

as for the sprocket the 15 th is the cheapest mod, that can cheat ur mind for power...its not huge...but its quite somethin cool...

the first 2 mods that u must to ,is the front springs ohlins or racetech or WP, and the high presure braided lines...

cheers

Instead of Ohlins front springs, i put R6 front forks with 4 pod Fz6 S2 calipers and Venhill braided lines also.

But i am still too poor to have an ohlins rear shock :(

Ah ok, I read "6.Front Springs Ohlins- with Oils Ohlins" in the post ...

But any cartrigde kit is good. It's such an improvement over the stock fork, even with ohlins springs ...

And yes the shock is worth it ... if you plan on keeping the FZ ...

the best thing is to buy the whole cartridge kit from MATRIS...

if u dont...which i did..hehe

you can do it the other way...

Thats what i did:

1.buy springs from WP,Ohlins,Hyperpro or or or...
2.buys some valve emulators to tune the forks..like the ones from Racetech
3.Buy some nice Adjustable Top Forks (prebounce, and etc)...like the ones from
matris(only whole cartridge kit) or DPM (you can buy it as a unit and it works in our forks
4.Some good oils with the springs....
5.Lower the triple clump some Cm.....and u are READY TO GO!!!!

Reason I love this bike

Wanna ride to work?
Wanna carve a canyon?
Wanna cruise the country?
Wanna hit the track?

You can do all these things fairly well with very minimal modifications.

Great bike djensar

thanx guys,

really that gives me a lot of courage to keep it up...

allthough everybody knows that in fact,u throw away your money with mods, because u ll never get back ur money...

I TRUELLY LOVE IT....

but in this case, that i am now...

i m considering whether to stop OR not?

do the r6 head unit mod or stop and save 1500 usd in my pocket?

Most members in greece suggest me to stop...i have spent enough money for the bike and its gorgeous...
whats ur suggestion and ur general opinion?
