Well it was a day of mixed emotion today..got rid the the supermoto which i loved and collected the FZ6.It took a while to get a grip of the long rev range as im used to the brutal low down grunt of the thumper ..but the transition didnt take too long, its just soooo smooth and with some rev matching the 1st-2nd "clunk" has been eliminated.

Although im gonna be spending the near future riding within the run-in period rev range its still a pleasure to ride, and knowing its full potential from the demonstrator i rode things will only get better.:D

I ve already seen a few little deatails id like to change which should improve the look a bit more (i know ,eye of the beholder and all that)..nothing too leary.. my modding philosophy is OE+

So thats it ..im not telling you anything you all dont know (why else would you keep your bike) but at least after a week of waiting and browsing this forum i finally feel like a part of the community

Welcome, get frame sliders...now!

There on the list..and although im no tight a$$ and i apreciate their importance im finding it difficult to shell out the kinda prices some companies are asking just for elongated skateboard wheels..lol

as an added bonus ..i found my spare axle sliders today ,i bought them in advance when i ordered the DRZ last year only to find it came with a factory set ;)

anyhow its day two of ownership, 5.55am to be exact ,and ive woken up with the excitment and anticipation of a child on christmas morning..as soon as the sun comes up im off :Sport:

EDIT: For the record until today i didnt even know there was a 5 o'clock in the morning

Sweet dude, im thinking of getting the ktm 690 to rage on P momma (palomar) and just as a daily commuter. Keep the rubber side down.

I hope someone sees this post b/c there is a really good post on how to break in your engine in 20 miles. its how im going to do everybike from now on.

KTMs ar just the dogs danglies ..but unfortunatley out of my price range ..besides which these sort of bikes attract too much attention from the local nasties...thats.the only reason i got rid of the DRZ

As you mentioned the break in period this was my first post here
