Givi side case comparisation V35 vs E41 (with pics) - need opinions

Hello,

I just purchased a set of used Givi side cases at eBay. The buy was good but is not perfect. The color of the cases is the 05'blue and my bis is a 07'blue. Another problem is that the mounting system is for the 05' and doesnt work on the 07'.

Now I have to decide if I buy the correct mounting kit or sell the whole system.

I see most of people with side cases here have the V35 system but for me the E41 system looks better. Do the V35 maybe have better handling?

I half-mounted the side cases for some pictures. The mounting system isn't correctly connected but for some pictures its ok. Even so the turning lights arent mounted.

So I just want to know, what you think. Which system looks better, which system is better? Any maybe why am I the only one with E41 side cases? Does I did't know something which others know?

Personally I like your E41 better, even though it is the wrong shade of blue. I think it looks sweet :thumbup:

Oh BTW it would have looked better in red :scared:

That setup doesn't look bad. If you keep these you might just repaint the mismatched blue at some point in the future.

The location of the rear footpegs is lower on the '07 than on the '05. Can you fabricate something to attach the rack to the footpegs, or are there other mounting point differences?

I like the v35's better myself (because I've got a set), but those 41's were my second choice. I don't think they look bad on your bike, so keep them. They probably provide a bit better storage than the v35's anyway. The shape of the v35's can be a bit annoying sometimes.
