Some time off at last. I will cover the oil system. I measured engine oil presure 45psi at fast idle, 10psi at hot idle. oil pressure is not too high no restrictors needed for turbo. supply line is metal brake line screws directly into turbo and brass hardware store fitting with cooper washer screwed into cranckshart oil gallery. The oil drain is a 5/8 hose fitting these can be found at any turbo part supplier. other end is 3/8 npt pipe drilled and tapped a hole in back of engine block above oil level. the drain hose is automotive air condition hose sold by the foot 5/8. Ac hose works good high temp and oil resistant.

I will cover the clutch next. after installing turbo i felt engine revving up at wide open throttle could not tell if tire spin or clutch slipp. clutch quickley failed from the slipping. searched internet for sollution found nothing. Did some research and found if spring pressure doubles so does torque holding capacity. also twice as many plates does same thing. stock spring are 42 lbs of force at installed height. engine has 50% more torque at 8psi boost. found hd clutch springs they only have 10% more force so will not solve problem. Finally found some easy to get springs. I am using Yamaha FZ1, R1 intake valve springs from the 5 valve engine. Fz1 intake springs used for Fz6 clutch springs. The springs will need shims. with 2mm spacers on the springs the installed height pressure is 65lbs with 4mm spacers spring pressure is 95lbs.With 4mm spacers clutch lever feel is not to good very stiff. I found thinner clutch steel plates at toomeyracing.com the steels are for the yamaha banshee are exact same as Fz6 only thiner. 1.2mm for banshee 2.0mm for fz6. so a 10 disk clutch with banshee steels has exact same intalled height as stock cutch with 20% more torque capacity than stock 8 disk.

Now that is a huge change in bike. Thanks for posting the turbo info, I enjoyed reading it.

Have fun with the VFR.
