turbo

Hi Guys, Just been speaking to a company that will turbo my fz6 setup aswell, they said on standard compression a safe boost is 6psi. Anyone else done this yet? anyone recommend it or not? Really want a turbo bike and shes only got 6000 miles on her.

I have a 88 fz600 motor that i have put in a quad. was wondering if this motor would be able to hold some boost and live for a little while? I'm thinking on putting around 5-7 pounds of boost, but didnt know if the carbs can handle it? Also dont know if the motor would live very long. Any info...

I installed a turbo on my FZ6 a few years ago the results are fantastic. Engine runs strong no surge stutter bog anywere. All done with hand tools no custom machine work expensive ecm or dyno tunning used. I tried many things along the way fuel, timming, compression, boost level, gear ratios...
