Front Sprocket Cover

Any tips when it comes to removing the front sprocket cover? I would like to give it a good cleaning over the winter season and was hoping there is an easy way to remove cover.

Remove the 3 socket cap screws and although it looks like it won't come out past the shift rod, it drops right out without a hitch.

And when re-installing it, its VERY EASY to pinch the wires on the backside of stator cover.

Make sure you can SEE THEM before tightening the cover down.
