Front Brake Level

I like the black front brake reservoir on my 2007. It looks a lot better than white semi transparent reservoirs on other bikes....but I can't see a level in the sight glass. Even when the bike was new, I never saw a level. Is there some special technique to checking this level..ie how do you see the level??

Yes, buy brightly colored brake fluid such as RED.

I have the same problem. I can't see the level. Are yamaha guys dumb? There must be a way... even without the red oil.

The OEM brake fluid in my bike was a light yellowish color...I have blue fluid in there now and can see it through the site glass no problem.
