Hi All,

My front brake lever has a little bit of play when not in use and it is triggering my tail light unless I push it all the way out (away from the throttle) after each use. It's maybe 1cm back and forth. I can't figure out what screw or adjustment would correct this, if possible. Video below for reference. Thanks in advance

There is a stop-switch assembly which mounts to the bottom of the master cylinder. It is operated by the lever. Make sure it's clean and operates smoothly. I don't have an FZ6 anymore, so I can't show you exactly what I mean, but it's this (12 in diagram). Besides that, take out the pivot bolt, clean and lubricate lightly so the lever moves without any resistance. Do not overtighten when reassembling.

Thanks. is the pivot bolt #7 and #8 pictured?
Yup. The lever will come right out once that bolt is out. Pay attention to the actual brake pin (that's the whole #2 thing in the diagram).. It's easy enough to misalign the lever when reinstalling.. you don't want to pinch/damage that part, but it's not hard at all. Easy job.
