Finally got a job offer!

Hi Guys n Girls,

Some of you may recall that I was trying to get a job in an Accident & Emergency department in Ireland. So that my wife could go home and be closer to her family and our children could have a better education.

Well after 4 interviews, the crushing disappointment of being offered a great job that was never allocated funding; £1600.00 spent on flights, car hire and hotels I finally did it.

I went for an interview two weeks ago at a brand new hospital that is situated where my wifes folks live. So its a bonus on all accounts.
The interview was the toughest one that I have ever had. When I left the room I had that feeling that I had under performed:spank:.

I got the good news in an e-mail on Friday, needles to say my wife and her parents are over the moon.
So to all of you who have wished me luck and given me encouragement in the past. A huge big thanks.

The scenery is certainly very beautiful. There isn't much in the way of long straight roads where we will be going. Recently alot of roads have been resurfaced and widened.
There are tons of twisties.

It is a bit of a worry trying to sell the house in January when everyone is skint.
We are committed to the move and we already have a place to live over there so thats half the battle.

Fortunately for me people will always become sick or have accidents. I don't mean that in a mean way. It does offer a bit more chance of finding work though.
