Seems bit pricey to me. The MX bar isn't working for me either.

i was about to post this ad up.

the tail looks cra pola IMO.

and 107 BHP at the wheel? i dont think ive seen any figures on here close to that, and this would be where you would find the modded fz's.

i dont think the engine has even been opened up.

THIS BLOKE HAS SPENT HEAPS ON IT FOR NOT MUCH REWARD.
Put a set of undertail exhausts, get rid of the handlebars and a general tidy up and I would say, $8000 is a fair price for it.

Yea the tail definately doesn't do it any favours, and the pipe on it is pretty horrid. Even the headers are alot uglier than the stock with those weldings halfway down. You can buy an aftermarket full exhaust that is side slung for about $1200 from memory and its much nicer in pretty much all regards.
While the tail peice has been done well, it isn't something I can see being done by choice since it just isn't that nice to look at!

Also isn't BHP normally higher than HP since it is a theoretical measurement, or a measurement taken when the engine is NOT running all the usual peripherals that are required for the bike to actually run properly on the road (ie pumps, etc).

"Custom made plastics."

Where? The only thing custom on there is the bodged on side pipe. I don't see any custom bodywork at all.

No, leaving parts off of the tail does not count.

The tail is custom made I'd say, it isn't just parts that where not put on when they removed the underseat exhaust.
Comparing it to mine its defiantely different than the stock, no grab bars etc.

Hmm I must say I don't like it at all. I mean the exhaust was one of the reasons I bought the FZ6. Why didn't he just buy a R6?
The rear end is just bad no other way to put it.:(

Funny you mention these things

it just occured to me, when i had a nasty crash last year, i smashed off one of my pillion grab handles. so instead of forking out for my insurance excess i cut the other handle off and ground them flush, so there were now no handles.

I was also unable to find a second hand one anywhere in aus. cause a new one was 500 bucks.

so im thinking that he has 12 o'clocked it or had a nasty crash which stuffed up the pipes also

(ps i ended up buying a new one eventually)
