Finally pulled myself together and invested in the GIpro X-TYPE gear indicator from HealTech.

Its now possible to buy a harness kit, which makes installation pretty simple - if I can - chances are that most of you can.

Only difficult part is to locate the crankshaft position sensor - but a quick search on this site located it for me. Also the speed sensor coupler took some time to find.

However only needed to connect to the gray cable from the crankshaft position sensor - and connect to power - which I already have a switch for.

After one hour it all was connectes and works very simple.

The following explains it very simple

Also the partnumbers used is explained herein;

A few more pic's

I already had installed a switch that I use to power the heated grips, and now connected the GIpro to this also.

Also installed just recently - the scottoiler - which I only can recommend.

Re: A few more pic's

Can you post a pic of the indicator installed on the dash?

I'm looking at this one myself and want to know how big the display is.

Thanks
