I normally go without any armor when wearing my draggins, understanding that I only have some degree of road rash protection and ride accordingly. For armor, I wear Bohn Armor pants that can go under regular jeans or under the draggins as well.
I also have the Bohn Armor shirt but find that my ability to look over my shoulder is limited by the shoulder pads because they contact my helmet when I look back. I do find that, on a hot day, wearing the Bohn Armor shirt over a T-shirt is quite comfortable.
I was looking at armoured shorts to wear underneath
But I'm thinking about knee armour, more specifically, just for some kind of impact protection.
I believe that the armor that they (draggin sells) attaches to the kevlar in the knees using velcro. So just buy the armor you prefer (Knox, Sas-Tec ...) and stick some velcro on the back to stick to the kevlar.
