Will fairings from 09 xj6 fit on an 08 fz6 converted to street fighter?

Hi everyone. I'm Nick...new on here. I'm having trouble figuring out if the fairings for an 09 xj6 will fit or be compatible with an 08 fz6 fazer. I picked up this 08 fz6 and it's already been converted to a street fighter. Everything I've read online has people doing the fairing conversion but their all using an fz6r or an 09+ fz6r. I noticed the fz6r and/or 09 fz6r's framing is different a little than the 08 fz6. ??

When you reference the FZ6r you're referencing a different bike than the FZ6. The FZ6 was manufactured from 2004 to 2006 and if the Series 1 (S1) then it was manufactured from 2007 to 2009 and was the Series 2 (S2)

The plastics on the S1 differ from the S2 series. I don't know about the fairing stay. You will have to look up the part number ans see if it's different between the 2 series.

Yes that is correct..which is why i stated it the way I did. I have an 08 fx6 converted to fz6n. I understand the fz6r is different than fz6. My point...was that when i look up trying to find anyone who has converted an fz6 to an xj6 via fairings...all i am able to find are people who have done it using an fz6r, and not an fz6. And the fz6r's are all 2009+. So im guessing an 09 xj6 fairing wont work with an 08 fx6. I understand the 09 fz6r has the same frame basics as the 09 xj6. Just wish there were better looking fairings available for the fz6
