Wish we had a motorcycle park nearby for dirt riding!! Damn, I miss it...
We did lots of upstate NY enduro riding (in the mountians but harder terrain , lots of rocks, thick woods, streams etc), lots of fun (growing up). Not nearly as fast as these guys but I might have been 16 at the time...
We also did AMA sanctioned Motocross racing out in Bridgehampton, LI, NY (out on Long Island) in the mid 70's. Rode YZ 125's and eventually YZ 250's (two strokes). Hard terrain, VERY loose sand, lots of whoops and a long down hill run into a water hole, then back up the other side, wheeling coming out of the other side!
Many great memories and lots of experiance, (riding AND WRENCHING)!
Nothing like that, but I have "survived" a few passes here in Colorado.....Italian Creek, it was so rocky it actually gave me nightmares! I thought I was gonna die up there!
