Design my bikes new paint scheme...win 1000000 credits!

Yep, that's right folks, i have decided what colour i am painting my track/race FZ6.

As most of you know, right now, she is pink, but needs a paint, and needs to be "my" bike.

I recently did a poll on here, and the winning colour scheme was Yamaha 50th Anniversary Yellow.

Now, here's the drill, i want to get a final design, so those of you who are pretty decent with photoshop, if your interested in having a bit of a play, here is couple of pic's of the bike, in it's pink livery, followed by the paint scheme, and a few FZ6's that i have seen that might help with inspiration, that you need to draw your inspiration from...obviously my bike does not have a full race fairing, so that makes it more interesting.

Each design needs to have the following as a minimum requirement...the Yamaha "Film Strip" striping, the Race number patches, and if you so desire, your signature...as the winning entry will get that splashed on the bike somewhere too....oh, and the bike needs to be Yellow, with black & white decals

The prize for the winning design is as Austin Powers would say 1000000 credits for use in the FZ6 forum Casino!

Flat black with charcoal striping would trick. If you can, powdercoat the shiny bits. The subdued paint is a neat hotrodder tip that I find is appealing, GRUMPY

Do you just want a plastics only colour scheme, or are you thinking about maybe powdercoating some mechanical parts like frame and swingarm? Just want to get an idea of how extreme I can go

it's a racebike...so only plan on doing the plastics...but go your hardest on other things...you never know I might just do extra...as for the high red pics, as mentioned, it would be cool if you could send me an e-mail to [email protected], and I will reply with images attached in high res. :thumbup:

You could use emulsion, as long as it did not rain you'd be fine.

All of the designs look great! So far I like Jedi's the best. I like the large film strip look. Too bad there isn't a race lowers or full fairing. With that space you could really have some fun.
