Do you think it's dangerous to listen to ipod/mp4 player while riding?

Ha! HavBlue works for the IRS! I didn't know that...that cracks me up...Hav, I'm a tax consultant for one of the big accounting firms :) I thought about pursuing a position as an IRS Special Agent for a while but went public instead....very interesting.

Just not my thing...lol...I'd love to see a picture of you belting out some Celine while riding your HD (or polishing it I guess). :D To each his own for sure!

Back on topic...ummm...the I4 is the only music I need when riding!

To be honest, I simply enjoy music and while I have issues with some forms of music, I have come to find good in most all of it. I love the sound of a well tuned big twin and will soon start on the FZ6 in an attempt to hear a sweet I4 for under $150.00. Can anyone say Flowmaster????

I can say Flowmaster, what are you thinking of doing? I like the sound of $150...

OK, stay with me here. The pipes that I have seen fitted to the FZ6 are all glasspacks and while they may be made from some exotic stuff they remain glasspacks and there is two required. The outlet pipe running from the connection point at the cat pipe to the face of the stock muffler is roughly 2" in diameter. Flowmaster makes a glasspack that is 12" in length with a 2" ID and 3" OD. This can be fitted to the end of the outlet pipe and hung off the original mounting point. One is all that is needed and there is no reduction in the outlet diameter nor is there a need to get rid of the stock shielding. Face value of the Flowmaster is $12.00 plus shipping. If you want the stock muffler assembly you can have a tube bent and welded on using stainless steel for roughly $60.00 but you may want a fancy outlet tube so add another $15-30. The left outlet on the stock shielding will remain fake. One lightweight exhaust for some time, thought and less than $150.00

Ok, i stayed with you, i think i am going to take a look under the seat of my FZ and see if i can come up with something, i might like this idea of a custom car exhaust fitted...

it always goes that way

It's a conversation being held in a social/friendly environment. Order is good, but too much is a downer. Conversations run their course and conversations evolve...it's just natural. So long as the OP is respected, who really cares?

Still the poll tells the original story 27 - 25.
