Hey, new to the forums and had a quick question. I just got my 06' FZ6 with a 04' R1 fork exchange. My question is if I buy a steering damper kit would I need one for an R1 or an FZ6? Not sure if this picture may help.

a fz6 dampener will work with your set up. If you are interested i am selling my ohlins dampener for $375 shipped

I had a Matris and don't know if you can get that brand anymore but I'm sure you can get the Ohlins damper. The damper made a lot of difference for me for the riding and roads I was doing when I had the FZ6. Most I've seen that fit the FZ6 use the top triple and the two bolts at the front of the tank for mounting.
I don't think Matris makes them anymore and I got mine at a killer deal at the time. It looks like the Ohlins will be the easiest to come by but none of them are cheap.

They look like R6 forks not R1.
